Di Cicco & Associates is second to none when it comes to technology

We're just going to come right out and admit something: We are technology junkies. From smart phones, to laptops, GPS, you name it. Call us geeks. Call us nerds. Call us what you will, but by all means, call us at 770.633.2861 for appraisal orders in Cobb County! Why? We're glad you asked.

The appraisal process has changed a lot in recent years and most would say, it's a lot more demanding than in the past. Cutting corners on analysis isn't an option for an ethical appraiser. Therefore, we've simply optimized our routine processes to do more in less time. We strive to be the very best, and we've found that keeping up with new technology allows us to provide more accurate reports in less time and the very best in customer service.

Let Di Cicco & Associates show you how we innovate ordering appraisals

Way back when, a great deal of orders came in via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back into the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we receive a text message on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.

Di Cicco & Associates understands that real estate is all about timeliness. We don't make you wait around for replies because we understand the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually reduce the amount of time needed for your appraisal.

Di Cicco & Associates believes in working smarter

The appraisal process is nothing if not a detail-oriented procedure. We spend quite a bit of time gathering both specific information about the subject property and general data about the local market and developing trends. Di Cicco & Associates takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.

We've learned that taking notes traditionally, using pencil and paper, generally takes longer since we we have to enter everything back in at the office. Don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using a program written for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. And instead of using an old tape measure, we're seeing that more appraisers are starting to use laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.

We combine all of these different technologies to ensure that your final report is thorough and conclusive. This aids both you and us by necessitating less time for call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.

Appraisal Report Delivery

Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Most of our clients prefer e-mail because we're all accustomed to getting attachments like PDFs in our mail. It's a lot faster than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with how you receive your report with this website.

Ever lost a file that was sent to you? Or have you ever had problems sending or receiving an e-mail because of the file size? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too.  Whenever we send an appraisal, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. So, at that point, it doesn't matter if all the extra photos and maps in the report result in a large file that would normally be blocked by e-mail. And the download link is good for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again - saving you time, since we won't even need to run back to the computer.

Finally, we use all digital workfiles...

It would probably be easier if appraisers could complete an assignment, deliver it and never worry about seeing that document again. However, appraisals are employed to show the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers are required by law to keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.

Here again, Di Cicco & Associates leverages our embracing of technology to improve service. By storing every aspect of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we can pull up the entire file whenever it's needed and recall exactly what that job was about.

These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Investing in the right software, services, gadgets and gizmos allows the appraiser to save time without cutting corners and deliver a better product to you, our client.
